Does Bourne Kill Neski & his wife in the Bourne Supremacy?

I have argued with friends that Bourne kills Neski & his wife in the Bourne Supremcy, they argue it is a clever twist and Bourne is brainwashed to think he did but he didn't.

Who's right?

Depends on if you read the book or saw the movie. in the movie he did kill them because he is an assassin. In the book he is not an assassin.
