Depending on the type of business it is, I would absolutely
considering opening your own shop. If you're low on finances,
you can start very small with a consignment store where you
won't have to purchase inventory initially. You can shop at
flea markets and buy a lot of interesting things....decorate
your place with finds and learn a lot about what people will
buy including price points, etc. A college town is a sure bet
as you will always have the turnover of customers. Find a
tiny but convenient location, plaster the town with ads for
your opening and put to use the things you've used so far.
You can do it! Slowly start adding new items as you can
afford to do so and trust your taste.

Marketing and/or sales positions would be a great place to start looking.
You could also apply for a management position in a chain such as an upscale department store or jewelry store or even a big grocery store.

Start your own store. Get a business loan. Befriend a good accountant and lawyer. Do enourmous amounts of research and then GO FOR IT!!!
