No, because the level of the instructor. I goto a University and like 75% the instructors have a Masters or higher. At a CC, most will have just a Bachelors.

A CC is like high school almost, it is very difficult to get a good job with a AS degree, the only thing it's good for is transfering to a University, so why not just go there in the first place?? besides, a lot of times some units aren't transferable so you have to take classes over again.

A University is alot more acredible, you have to do so well to get into a University and a community college anyone can go to. Comunity colleges are usually easier, alot of adults go to community colleges, they have alot of night classes.

Both depend on the quality of the teaching staff. I've seen some cc profs with top notch teaching skills and some univ. profs that needed to return to elementary school. Research the staff on their class pass/fail rate.

The type of degree and the organization that awarded it get you into different doors right out of college. However, once you get through that initial door, performance and experience outweigh the degree.
