My first port of call would be Monsoon (if you go to a big town then you can find the Monsoon Fusion range which is like Monsoon's usual stuff but a bit more dressed down. Manchester Arndale has it),and Debenhams are usually pretty good for that sort of thing. A big Marks and Spencer with the full Per Una and Autograph range would also not be a bad bet- I don't know what size you mean by shapely but I think they do an 18 if not a 20. New Look's a fair bet too, and if I had the money then I'd go to Anna Scholz. Good luck!

No. Bikinis don't adversely affect personality. Girls that are comfortable wearing a bikini are often more friendly toward guys. The rule for Bikini's is the size of the bikini should match the girl's figure. thus, it is OK for a skinny teen or younger, tone woman to wear a smaller bikini; and larger, less tone (older) women should wear more swimwear. It is not so much the bikini, but the body wearing it determines if it is too small or promiscous. Of course the setting is also important: fyi, posting bikini shots at the beach or pool is OK; it is the appropriate attire, just like a sweater or parka is appropriate to wear in the snow. facebook bikini pics at the bar, bedroom or sidewalk is trashy.

It all depends just how shapely you are, Evans has got a lot better lately with lots of really modern, fashionable and classic clothes in a size 16 plus. Marks and Spencers, Dorothy Perkins and BHS all go up to a size 20. There are also some good mail order catalogues out now, Simply Be has lots of choice. I actually find more choice in mail order catalogues than I do on the high street and most deliver in 48hrs now.

Macy's, Foley's, Dillard's...in that order. Just go to one store a day or you will get overwhelmed like me. Dress in something that you can throw on and off real fast and easy or you'll not try something on that maybe you should just because you don't wanna undress again. I had to break down and hit the mall last month and that's how I did it. Very impressed with our new Marcy's in Texas. Great sales!!!!!

Monsoon all the way, I wouldn't advise online stuff as great as it can be.... you'll never get the changing room experience where you can put it back on the rail if it's rubbish!!! So, monsoon is your best bet I reckon seeing as the sales are amazing there right now. Similar shops I just cant think of any off the top of my head!

Lane Bryant has some nice things. Old Navy also has a large selection of outfits for all occasions. Macy's is also a good buy.

Work Conferences are boring......not too overly dressed either.....wear black dresspants..crisp white blouse, perhaps a lil blazer to go ontop
or wear below knee length skirt and blouse* Nothing too fancy~ No need to spend large amounts of money....Go to Walmart* you'll find a proper dress decore there for your conferences at work*GOODLUCK*~
