NO, they are too different to be put together. Punk as it sounds is simple, childlike, immature music from people with not much schooling in music. Jazz on the other hand, is one of the most sophisticated, highly schooled, disciplined to a degree genres around in music. Jazz already combines the sophisticated classical training within its core. OK, so why would someone want to ruin a great American art (Jazz)??????
