I have played all of the C&C games and I enjoy the strategy and the battle aspects a lot, but I'm not interested in getting into the MMORPG or any online games. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

warcraft and starcraft were both build in a way similar to C&C you can play them offline or online. They have both been out for sometime, so nothing new really. Play the Protoss

I highly suggest Total Annihilation. If you search on Google for "Spring TA" you should be able to find the Total Annihilation version for the Spring Project for free downloading from it's main site. It is awesome if you love strategy games.
Other games that I can suggest are Age of Empires and Starcraft.

new command and conquer called tiberium wars out in march. i think 17th. have u played generals, Red Alert 2, and tiberiun sun? those last three are the older command and conquers. all pretty solid
