Crush/remove the adults when you see them. You can also bait them as suggested earlier with a food source.

Clean plants/ornaments whith visible eggs.

You can try a product called "Had A Snail" (or anything with copper sulfate) if you aren't against using chemicals.

Go biological control - get a clown loach (needs a big tank as an adult) or puffer fish to eat them. Just be careful of the species of puffer. Some require salt in the water and some grow large. A dwarf is good for a smaller tank - they're only about an inch long.

Here's info on the fish species:

There is a couple of ways to do this, you can either squish them on the side of the glass whenever you see them. You can take out all of the plants in your tank and wash them down since this is usually where the eggs are. Then make sure you wash the corners up and down in your tank. Don't use any chemicals like snail X or something that you drop in your water to kill snails, some of this can be harmful to your fish. Either those or take the water and fish out and wash the gravel/sand and the tank down.

throw a piece of carrot in the tank, after a couple hours remove it, the snails will be attatched to it. Repeat until all the snails are gone.

look around the tank for egg sacs and remove them before they hatch.

The best way is to use a piece of lettuce. Let it sit in the tank overnight, then by morning it should be covered in snails, all you have to do is remove the lettuce with the snails on it, and do what ever you want with it.

Sprinkle rock salt in the ditch the salt will kill them. For a more permanent idea get a Guinea hen they eat everything.
