Longer Lunch:
Allows for more time to socialize allowing for students to possibly take their mind of learning for too long. May allow time for students to get into more trouble, or for the lonely students, bored for longer time.

Favor of a longer day: Parent of students.
They would rather then be in school then at home alone, or out messing around.
Its a hassle to pick them up from school if they dont drave or too far to walk.

Affected by eating fast??? Not many... many high schoolers spent more time socializing then they do eating.
Eating fast, however can cause indigestion, acid reflux, etc.

In my opinion, lunches dont need to be longer, students simply need to make eating lunch a priority, instead of using all their time socializing..
Most kids dont care too much about their health, only their social lives.

This is a stupid question. Lunch might be different in your school, but in mine it's about 40 minutes long. The lunches are small, and you have over half an hour... so you definitely have enough time to eat AND socialize.

You don't gain weight from eating fast, you gain it from eating too much. For eating fast you get full quicker because you swallow more air, which causes you to get gassy and maybe get a stomach ache. You won't gain weight.
