Sam M... just look at the box score of last nights game and tell me who has more of an impact on his team. And if I'm not mistaken, I believe Nash has one of the highest FG% in the league. It's call efficiancy. And when did MVP start meaning score a lot of points and not pass the ball?

Are the Miami Heat even over .500?

I believe that the MVP should go to a guy with one of the best three records in the league. Lets all remeber that the only stat that really counts in basketball is WINS VS LOSS. Not individual points scored, assist or rebounds. So that eliminates every guy on the list except for Nash and Dirk, I think Kobe is great one on one, and it is a joke he is actually getting votes becuase he is finally passing the ball. Isnt that the first thing you learn at the ymca it has taken this guy nine years, so kobe is out. Nash and Dirk have taken there teams to a different level my vote goes to wich of these guys lead ther team to the best record. The only stat that really counts in Basketball.

Sam, you're so ignorant. If FANS voted, it would be LeBron or, perhaps, Yao (you know what it is). But how can you say that about Nash? "Just passes". What's that supposed to mean? He creates great chemistry by being unselfish he really IS a great passer and thus makes the Suns click.

Oh, he is also the Suns leading scorer.

It's between Nash and Dirk, in my opinion. If Wiz can get a top-3 seed, maybe Gilbert. Also, Kobe could creep in. LeBron, doubtful, because he's not having as great of a season as last year, and the Cavs haven't beaten good Western teams.

I would vote LBJ. I think Nash is an a**. He gives up the ball so other players can score just so that he can get another MVP. Hey here is a thought, how about some one other than Nash get it for once like a player that has not won it before. Like um I don't know, Lebron James maybe. MVP should not be given to show off kind of players.

Actually if u go to NBA.COM Wade has the highest EFF rating
Higher than NASH

Also WADE plays Defense something NASH doesn't play at all

Wade is playing on a team with no all-stars just role players and veterans
Miami is 0-9 without wade phoenix is 2-1 without nash

Phoenix can win without nash, Miami is the worst team in the league without Wade

Wade numbers 28 points 8 assists and 2 steals plus he takes al lthe clutch shots for his team is amazing.

Wade Carries the Heat on his back. Nash is a talented player on a talented and loaded team.

Wade has a ring, Nash doesn't and never will cause he dont play defense.
WADE is the BEST player in the league and he should be MVP man!!

WADE the MVP NO doubt about it

Its still a toss up between nash, dirk and arenas. If Phoenix and Nash keep it up then he will win it again. Best player in the NBA is Kobe but thats not the MVP. I believe Nash will win it again. Wade does deserve alot of attention to though as mentioned above me... and yeah this Sam guy is a retard.

well Gilbert if the league has gained common sense..Steve Nash passed his way to the MVP. Anybody could do that. Nobody goes to a game and says "DUDE STEVE NASH WILL PASS THE BALL SO GOOD!". There is no reason that the only thing you can say about the MVP is that hes a good passer.

It depends. If Washington comes on and shocks in the playoffs, then Gilbert Arenas. Otherwise, it'll either be Nowitzki or Nash.

personally i'm a Kobe fan and I think he should get it, but at this point, the league would give it 2 Arenas or Nash
