I got my tonsils out and was in bed for 2 weeks and lost 15 pounds because I couldn't eat anything it hurt so bad! I was 21 and they say the older you are when you get them out them worse it is. The pain was so bad that it woke me up every four hours on the dot the second the pain killers wore off. I felt like I had to throw up every 5 seconds and when i actually did it was the worst pain ever because it was only stomach acids that came up! Fun huh? NO! I probably would have welcomed death then.

About 2 1/2 years agfo I worked at a place called Grandma's Saloon. We recieved a shipment of green onions that were infected with the Norwalk Virus. The entire staff came down with this HORRIFIC form of walking death...Fever, chills, vimiting, the poops...It was aweful, I layed in my bed and slipped in and out of a self-induced coma for 3 days straight.

I think I happily welcomed death while giving birth to my children... I was like "Just kill me now or let me kill you!!"

But I have never been so sick I felt like dying....

Actually, I have chronic pain that the doctors can't get rid of, or even diagnose. I often wonder, would it be worth it to live with this pain for the rest of my life? I know I'm usually a wise ***, but I am serious on this one.

I was 12 years old & introduced to Gin. The next 2 days it felt like someone had beat my head with a hammer. I have not drank Gin since!

Never. Being sick is almost fun because I have to push myself to keep doing my usual routine, and people see and appreciate my effort, which also feels good to me (naturally).
