The only way I know of is directly from a plant. But are there stores where you can legally buy cannabis seeds? By the way, I live in Nova Scotia, Canada.

Not necessarily cheap, but the sale of cannabis seeds is legal in Great Britain. There are businesses in England and also in the Netherlands that sell seeds at retail stores and on the internet. Note that not all will ship to US residents, though others will. Also note that it is illegal to possess seeds in the US. Canada has tried to develop a legal source of seeds for their legal medical use, thus far to no avail.
