Fire, its natural and 100% effective!

Seriously, you need to get an exterminator. Boric Acid can work, but if you are in an apartment, or just moved into a house you don't know the history of, this could be just the beginning.

Unkowingly my wife brought some boxes home from the local market to pack up kid clothes. (Never do this.) We got them. The exterminator treated our whole house for $20. Never saw a live one again. That was ten years ago. A week after his treatment I placed those sticky Roach Motels all over to be sure. We had three cats and removed them the day of the treatment, no ill effects upon their return 8 hours later.

first, you want to make sure the area is as clean and dry as possible. if there's nothing for them to eat or drink then you're half way there.

you can buy all natural bug powder at most hippy stores or just sprinkle boric acid in the dark, warm areas where they may hide.

i know boric acid sounds scary but it's basically non toxic to humans and pets. but it sticks to the legs of the bugs and causes fatal chemical burns. you can get it at most hardware stores.

good luck.

There is an electronic device that emits sound waves at a much higher frequency then we can hear. It does seem to keep cockroaches out of your house and does not use chemicals nor does it actually kill nor harm the roaches.

Boric acid definitely. I lived in the subtropics & that's what I used. It's cheap, effective. You can put it into baby food jar caps into your cupboards, along baseboards, etc. I'm not sure about tocicity to pets. Read directions on container

TURN YOUR STEREO UP "AS LOUD AS POSSIBLE", ESPECIALLY IN THE BASEMENT AREA. WHEN I WAS A TEENAGER, MY BROTHER WAS IN A BAND AND HAD BAND PRACTICE IN OUR OLD BASEMENT ON WEEKENDS. WE NEV ER SAW ANOTHER COCKROACH. THEY CANNOT STAND THE LOUD VOLUME AND WILL GO ELSEWHERE!
