Pardon me for making this observation. Bush can mention that the economy is doing good. From my point of view it is not doing good for people here that do not own business's in other countries. I understand that there is a large difference between political borders and economic borders. Our economic borders are not shaped like what we see in the map. The sales and incomes from American owned companies are reflected in our stock market, regardless what country is making our widgets if you will. With our output being reflected in the GDP, that is currently in decline, our overall economy is not good. Every time I hear a politician say they are creating jobs, I have to ask myself, in what country?
I see absolutely no reason we should be subsidizing a company that has taken jobs out of this country that have been posting record profits on cheaper labor and such.

It was as well as can be expected considering the hatred & disrespect shown by the Congress, media & Democrats in general. I hope we can find alternative sources for oil. It was the first plan for paying for the insurance for the uninsured. It will mean a tax increase for me but not as big an increase as paying for all the health care. Not the best I ever heard but definitely not the worse State of the Union.

Interrupted by applause over 60 times.
All the Democrats push their way to get a picture with him.
DEMOCRATS SUCKED UP, AS USUAL.

I was terribly dissapointed. An advisor had told him to be more harsh and stern when concerning the Democrats, and yet he was nice and classy. At this point in the game, with no more elections to worry about, he needs to clinch his fists and get something done instead of kissing up to Pelosi

I think he's a shifty eyed weasel and the world would be a much nicer place without him in it. Then again the best we can do is replace him with another weasel so why bother.

As soon as he said something about fiscal constraint in Washington, I kept seeing his lips moving but I wasn't listening, I knew if he fed us that line of bullsh*t, everything else wasn't worth listening.

I think it was better than his last one, but it still could have been better, because I think there was too much sucking up to the Democrats in it.
