Honestly... I couldn't care less! Since you asked...SO WHAT if he used the word FAG.. whats the big deal. Adults are so much worse than children. I mean ... his comment was tastleless but their should be no actions as far as him getting fired. Much worse has been done and over looked in the past so why not give this man a break...
If your child came up to you and told you ..."he called me a fag" ...you would more than likely say... don't pay any attention or something along those lines.
This world is far from a pretty place to live... its a word in where people have their so called "freedom of speech" ...yet because people are so sensitive... we have to watch what we say in order not to hurt another person's feeling

I think he's an idiot. Look at this from TR's perspective.
How would Washington feel if Dempsey, knowing that Washington was standing right there, told TR that he wasn't his N****R. And then how would Washington feel when, first, all the people in the mostly white cast and crew denied that it happened, second, Dempsey went on national TV and clearly said, "No, I did not call Washington a N****r", and third, once Dempsey was shown to be a LIAR, was not fired and Washington was told to just accept the apologize and keep working with Dempsey and smile a lot.
There would be a riot. Al Sharpton would picket Disneyland and call for a boycott of all advertisers on ABC.
I don't know what planet some of these answers came from. Here on Earth the Mel Gibson controversy went on for about six months as did the Michael Richards incident. If Gibson couldn't bankroll his own films he disappear from sight as did Richards. Nor do I think calling TR a homo for being a victim of someone else's bigotry elevates the discussion.

I think the media and the cast members are blowing this situation way out of proportion. Yes, Isaiah Washington made a huge and stupid mistake by calling T.R. Knight the f-word because he wouldn't like it if someone called him the N-word. But I don't think he should loose his job over it. I mean look at Mel Gibson, Michael Richards "Kramer", and Mark Wahlberg who made derogatory comments, and everyone let it go. I think people should let the controversy go and move on. It is not the first time in Hollywood, that someone was called out of their name. Besides, nobody knows what really happen, it is just speculation.

I put him in the same category as Gibson and Michael Richards if he actually did call the guy a "f@ggot". Would Washington like it if someone called him a racial slur? Probably not. I just despise any form bigotry. Instead of hating people who are not exactly like us why can't we celebrate the differences in our fellow human beings?

I'm sitting in my living room, in uhhhhh, let me see, what country am I in again! Am I in Saudi Arabia or Cuba or China? The last time I checked I was in the USA, which has something called the Constitution, which has a saying in it.......let me see if I can remember this, um, it's something about the Freedom of Speech in it. Geez Louize! You have GOT to be freekin' kidding me! Apologize and going to couseling for calling someone a name????? This limp wristed, panty-waisted, whiney crowd has got to go! I guess Freedom of Speech only means that certain "groups" get to use it and the rest of us don't. The homo needs to be fired for causing such a ruckas and making a mockery of our Country and Constitution. Get a life, get some thick skin and get out of my face, 'cause I'll punch ya!

That guy is such an idiot. He should really get fired. I mean like he made one huge mistake by calling his co worker a fag but then trying to say he never said it!? What an idiot. He wasn't sorry in the first place if he is denying it now

I think as long as he apologizes to T.R. and gets rid of those demons, his fine. I'm sure T.R. and Patrick, for that matter, understand that he has some issues. He just needs to apologize, apologize, kiss as much *** a possible and continue on with his work.

Okay, you beat me to the question. I just seen this on yahoo news. So does this mean that any group that becomes offended can holler and we have to go to therapy? I wonder how many times he has been offended by remarks because of his color. Who determines what remarks makes one in need of therapy and how many gays will go to therapy because of criticizing heterosexual?
