you can probably play it online, but probably just able to chat with other players, not actually play with them. i actually hope that the elder scrolls team stays away from mmorpg, that market is so saturated, and they have said many times that the reason they don't make it online is because they want to focus on making the gameplay as good as possible, and spending time on online features would only take away from the game as a whole. i think the next game should be some sort of virtual reality full body simulator.

No but i heard a rumour that the next elder scrools will be an mmorpg- massive multipplayer online role playing game so fingers crossed.

There is no online for this play for this very fun game but if there was i bet i would be killer...If it had online I imagine it would be amazing...You can download extra content and stuff though...
