That annoys and peeves me to no end ... You d think that you re listening to a great song then ,as usual, the song would be skipping something terrible .. Then you realize the 80 percent of the person's collection is gouged up .. Why bring them,if they don t play worth a damn at home let alone at a party ....AAAAARGH !

Lol, yes, I hate that too! I take excellent care of my Cd's and I am always surprised when people play horribly scratched cd's, I don't know how they can stand it? And I do not see the point in attempting to listen to them if they are all messed up. One idea would be to burn an extra copy of the cd's when they are first purchased to always have a good backup copy of the original. The people that throw these parties, and also have damaged cds should buy an ipod and speaker set, how great would the parties be after that!
