I live in town that is very spread out. My mom lives on the outskirts of town and I always lose my signal when I'm driving to her house. It's about time for both of us to get a new phone so I'm wanting your opinion on what phone gets the best reception. Thanks so much!

We both have LG phones right now. We never seemed to have this problem when we had Nokias.

It's not the phone, it's the service - you need to find out which service has the most cell towers in your area...then pick that one...usually it's verizon...but who knows

O'kay I'm a cingular area manager, and yes nokia's are the best phones!! Just make sure you don't get a flip phone, nokia doesn't have a clue when it comes to flip phones. Also, if you can't find a nokia bar phone you can try any 3G phone. these phones carry new technology that will improve signal strength and give you faster download times. you will also have access to cingular video and mobiTV and mobiRadio... the list goes on and on. If you have any question about phone's email me, because if you go into a store the employee's will try to sell you anything so they can make their commission.

If you mean cellphone service, pick Cellular One. They have a large network. Try their Vision One service. You need to make a one-time payment of $50 for a four year service, at least in arizona. You need food stamps, drivers license, and other stuff to get Vision One. Text messages, IM, and internet are not compatible with Vision One. Check at a Cellular One store to see if you have a digital service. Analog is HORRRIOBLE! You could also try Alltel. They have more feature services than Cellular One, like TV phone and radio. You have to pay roaming fees in Vision One.

You need to check on the coverage that each provider offers in your area. A "Rural Area" in one section of the state may get perfect service from T-Mobile while in another may get great service from AT&T
