I want to dye my white sweatspants a light purple color. I dont know what people would be thinking or saying. they make light purple shirts for men, so I wouldn't think that having lavender colored pants would be diffrent from that.

I would think either that the guy is (1) exhibiting feminine tendencies, (2) has no clue about fashion, or (3) is a pretty cool cat who has his own style. It all depends on how he carries himself ... confidence.

Well, it depends on how you work those lavender pants. If I saw someone with purple pants and wasn't "working it" I would probably think he was stuck in Easter.BUt like I said, if you go around with your head held high and those purple pants, you could look great.

i would say (if i saw such a sight) wow there goes a guy wearing purple pants. someone saw me mowing in a pink shirt(I'M a guy and I am straight) the fact of the matter the shirt became pink in the washing machine mixed in with something red. anyway this guy says "I saw ya in your pink shirt mowing" he snickers a little ya know. and I said "ya wanna make something of it? that ended it. My point: clothes do not make the man or woman for that matter. wear what you want and be happy.

well it depends how you bring yourself, some people might think your gay, if your wearing some tight shirt, But who cares..as long as you comfortable on it right? If you wanted to dye it with light purple, you can try wearing white shirt with chelecos/vest with a design of chain on it..I think you look cool on that.

If i saw a man wearing purple pants i would be wondering why in the world he was wearing them. But you have the freedom to do what you want to do and you should just be yourself.

True, they make lavender men's shirts. But they don't make lavender men's sweatpants. So people would assume you bought the pants in the ladies section.

I wouldn't think anything of it. But there is some certain shades of purple that don't "go" with guys so well. There is like this deep shade of purple that "goes" with guys extremely well. Well, that's my input.

Dark purple ... a Ravens fan
Light lavender ... probably gay ... or extremely fashion conscious.
