I would try graphite. it's a good dry lubricant. Any wet/oil-based lubricant will just soak into the wood and make a mess or cause rot. You should be able to find some graphite in a hardware store.

Use a bar of hand soap, like Ivory. Remove the drawer. Hold the bar soap in one hand. Rub the bar of hand soap up and down on the wooden track that fits into the drawer. Replace drawer. Open and shut several times to lubricate entire track area.

There's a great trick that won't damage the wood. Get some paraffin wax (you can find it really cheap in the canning section of the grocery store). They come in blocks, which are about the same width as the runners on your drawers. Rub the wax on the runners and where the runners rub against the bottom.

Wax works good. They also sell very thin teflon tape with double sided tape to adhere to the wood. Check our rockler.com under hardware.

You can try rubbing a bar of soap on it. This usually works for me.
