lie you ever told your parents as a teenager?

I was just talking with my friends about this. I can remember when I was 16 I ask my mother if I could go out with Sean. She didn't hear the word Sean though she heard Shawnna. She was like oh ok is she on the basketball team too? How could I not take advantage of this opportunity. So I said yea if you want em' to be and that was that. I stayed all night with Sean and my mother still doesn't know to this day and here it is almost 4 years later. Maybe I'll tell her someday when I'm a mother myself.

My "Sean" was Bob and my "Shawnna" was Linda. We drove around all night and ended up parked at a closed gas station in the town where Bob had gone to school where he and his buddies would sometimes meet. I was one tired pup by the time I got home! I have been married to Bob for 37 and a half years now! I never did fess up to my parents.

I had a couple good occurances. I told my parents I was going to a friend's house to sleep over, or a friend's new year's dinner party. I didn't make it to either friend's house. I was out spending the night with a guy! My parents know these lies now though, considering I have been with the same guy since that new years, 10 years ago! lol

I lied to my parents about being fired from a job. I got fired for having admitted in a drug test that I had smoked pot. *lol* I was very naive back then and was fired a week later for stating in writing with lots of details of when I smoked weed. Silly me, I thought being honest would be valued. They axed me so fast it wasn't funny.

So I was in a panic. What was I to tell my parents???? I walked 6 miles home pondering this and concluded that I would tell them that I did not have the job anymore as the job was only a temporary internship and that I had lost the permanent position to someone else.

They believed me and felt so bad for me that they took me out to dinner and bought me all kinds of things and spoiled me to death. Boy did I feel guilty as hell for that.

I was about 16 and told her I was going camping with my friend and her family. ( Which I had done many times before ) Since my mom was so used to me going camping with them I knew she would not ask to speak to a parent. So, a few girlfriends and I went to a crazy house party, got totally messed up and fell asleep there. When I woke up and called my mom, she had figured it out, the police were already looking for me!! Needless to say I was grounded forever!! She was pissed!!

He asked how was I with all night and I like, "Tracy." He said, "Next time Tracy needs to have you home eariler or I'm not letting you go anywhere with 'her' anymore!" I was like Ok! :) Tracy was guy, and my dad still to this day doesn't know it! I love unisex names!
