I just bought a brand new samsing YP-U2J MP3 player. I already installed the software. When I plug it in my computer doesn't think it's there. When I go to my computer it is not listed. I already turned the computer off, then back on but it's still not working. What do I need to do?

You might have to check the driver, make sure it is compatible with your operating system. If anything, try to update it by going to the Samsung website. Afterwards, give your computer a reboot. If all else fails, contact Samsung or visit some forums. Good luck and happy music!

i can't give you a final answer on this but i can give you clues first make sure you are using the same usb port you used yesterday second try seeing if your mp3 player shows up in your my computer window third see if you are allowe to delete the songs you currently have on your player. most of the problems come from windows media player microsoft did their usual mojo and whenever you register "your" songs on their player it encodes it with a copyright protection this makes it (read only) very hard if not impossible to retrive from your computer to your mp3 player . there are other factors why your mp3 is not working but i'll need more info os. mp3 player type size and last thing done on computer before problem came up.

When ever just buy a new mp3 before you Can play it or put music on it or before your computer will see it (if you read your manual) you must ''CHARGE IF FIRST FOR ABOUT 4 HOURS'' !!....Then it will work..Good day:)
