Magic is neither black or white. It's used much like prayer, and it is a sin according to many churches. If that bothers you, don't investigate further. It's not like in "The Craft" or any of the other witchy movies.

The term white magic is the word used to designate magic that is done for supposedly altruistic purposes. The word term is meaning less as magic is magic. There is no black or white about it. As to it being sinful...that is a person observation that can ONLY be made by the person working the magic and no one else, but the black/white thing is an artificial idea used mostly to maek some people feel morally superior to others. After over 30 years working with magic I have found that those artificial separations are meaningless.

White magic puts into consideration the safety of others and yourself. It harms none and asks for permission of others before casting them.

Black magic is selfish self serving without regard to other people nor their safety and doesnt care if the other person gets injured or not. Sometimes the person who is doing black magic doesnt care if they hurt themselves as long as they get what they want.

Grey magic is in between. I practice grey magic sometimes because i feel that if i let the other person know what im doing even though its a healing spell or ritual they consciously/subconsciously are capable of stopping it or keeping it from happening.

sin is sin if you believe in sin then all magic is sinful because magic involves spellcasting or ritual thats linked to witchcraft and according to the bible witchcraft is forbidden. So whether you practice white, grey or black magic it will be considered sin.

Most other religions do not follow biblical beliefs.

the only distinction is interior the attitude of the guy describing it. Magic is magic. all of it comes from a similar source. a similar forces that are used to bless could be used to curse. i think the main simplistic definition could be that all of it comes right down to reason, yet even that's no longer even close to to being precise. people spend a techniques too lots time niggling over black and white magic and not sufficient easily doing something. A colleague of mine as quickly as reported, "the style between black and whit magic is that black magic is something that easily achieves a result, white magic is each little thing else." i like that description. Magic is. Use it. there is not any black or white, those are aritficial differences created by skill of people who have a ought to experience morally better to others.

White magic is used to heal or help people for a good cause and many of the ingredients used are plants,incantations or stones and is done mostly during day time.Black magic is used to hurt people or the result of it will be a negative one or just not right.Involves killing of live animals,strange rituals with blood,done mostly during night .

I believe that the term black magic is used when speaking of magic done with the "ego" in mind, and for the purpose of "self power." White magic is done for the purpose of healing and helping all those involved....it involves free will and is not "ego" based. White magic reminds us of the wiccan traditions and ceremonies, although, we call this earth magic or just magik....

white magic is supposedly good whereas black magic is evil...like i think black magic is to do harm on ppl while white magic is pure and helps ppl. And my religion teaches that it is a sin.
