4 times the cost of gas

It all depends on space size. Electric heaters can get very exspensive to run constantly. Gas heaters need to be checked to see if there ok to be ran indoors so you don't run the risk of carbon monoxide poisoning from combustion. Gas would be cheaper. Just find a safe gas heater.

Inside a home I don't think you want a gas heater.

I run an electric heater all night in the winter rather than turning on the main heater but it does increase my electric bill by $25.

what are you heating and is somebody going to be sleeping in the room. Is the gas vent less or vented. Depend on where you live there are certain code that have to be followed

Unless you have an incredibly cheap source of electricity, fuels will almost always be cheaper to heat with.
