I fell during my basketball game and it hurts a lot and i really want to get rid of the bruise the is on the top right of my butt, every time i bend my legs or get in defensive position and start moving it hurts, i used Bengay, Iced it, Icy Hot and it still wont go away I have a game this Sunday and I really need help to heal my back, doctor says do stretches too and i am, so any suggestion to help me?

Unfortunately, there isn't much else you can do. If you are able to play in the game, your athletic trainer can pad the area to protect it from further damage. Rest to allow it to heal, ice to decrease the swelling and bruising, you can try a compression wrap - but that area is not easy to wrap. Go see your athletic trainer and he or she may be able to help. If the bruise does not go away, make an appointment with an MD.

I agree with Debby about not accepting medical advice here...you could also see a physical therapist. They deal w/rehab issues all the time. Many of the therapists offer free injury screening. (like Athletico)
