like if i had virgo for a horoscope and says you will fall in love like is that really true or do they just make them up to confuse you and fool you

They usually don't trick you. The good ones anyway. In fact, they're usually very accurate.
The reason? They're made to work for everyone. Go to any horoscope with the mindset that it's yours, and you'll find that you think it's true too. It's built on the idea that everybody has a few basic characteristics and that the rest your mind will make up for.

It is possible that there are astrologers that have evil intentions. Not many granted but how can you tell? I'm sure most assume all fortune tellers are good and won't lie. Just because they type what seem to be "nice" readings, some can lie or make up things for fun and see how others would react. How can you tell when an astrologer is false on purpose? The crop circle hoax shows how a few pranksters can make thousands gullible.
Add on: I've read about a entertainer that did the astrology for a big city newspaper. He spend over a year using old clippings and literally pulled them from a hat.
Also the person below claims that electo-magnetic forces come from the planets. Can these be measured? Why don't they weaken with distance? Why doesn't the earth or the sun's closer and more energy cancel out the other planets?

The horoscopes are really true, if made by learned and experienced astrologers, and it should be interpreted also by learned experts. Unfortunately, we have lot of fakes, whom we are unable to verify, because we do not know their qualifications. However, we should know all the planets position at the time of birth, not just the sun.
However, one fact to be know, 'the stars impel, but they do not compel'. So we should make the best use of the birth horoscope.

Why would they want to trick you ?
I believe that the horoscope contains accurate information it is due to being very vague and also the person who interprets the horoscope.

read the daily horoscope in your newspaper, then read
another sign's horoscope. i'll bet they both hit it kinda-
sorta. for a while i would wait until evening to read mine
just to see if it fit. most days it worked only in a broad
sense, but then so did most of the others.

Horoscopes are based on the stars. their groupings or "constellations." they all have a name. ex: Virgo, Cancer, Aquarius and others. It isnt bad to read them or anything but its something that you can compare your day to and see if you can relate to it, you know for fun. like irony. for example "You are going to be going through a life changing experience" and if you're retired or just started a family or something that has happened to you, you can relate to it.

horoscope is a matrix of birth by years,months and hours. Our nature is trapped within this time space matrix. Ruled by the seemingly stars and planets but actually by principalities and powers in high places. However in actual fact we are ruled by the Spirit of God. Thus we are capable of Good if we allow the Divine Goodness to rule in our hearts, transcending the "fallen nature" of man. Escaping the Matrix that the dark angel will have us trapped in. If you believe its true then u find good and if u don't then its fake. My advice is take the positive things in that and leave the negative things. It makes u happy and confident

they are sometimes and sometimes they arent..as all virgos cant do the same thing at the same time if it says irt in ur horoscope...
