Border Vigilantism? If the government wont secure The border, then shouldn't we?

The government wont react until violence and militia activity occurs. Is this the only way?

We should use IED's on knows drug smuggler roads. This would capture the governments attention.

In Iraq there are security service providers that are allowed to carry and use guns as if they were soldiers and they get paid more than the average soldier, this causes hostility between the US solider and the rent-a-cops. Now if some idiots calling themselves minutemen are doing the job of a border patrol officer guess who might loose their job and to to an illegal??
This is also going to create some hostility and maybe put the life of officials on the border.
So in reality what are border vigilanties protecting??

if the goverment enforced the law as they should, they would come here. too many companies are employing the illegals, enforcing the laws for that alone would make the employers stop using illegals.
