How do I go about becoming a voice actor?

I am very interested in pursuing a career in voice acting. I'm looking for insight on how to become a voice actor for either animated TV shows or video games. I live in Southern Jersey and am 15 minutes outside of Philadelphia if that helps for anything.

This is an answer that I need to do for myself. One of the things that I am planning to do is get my Voice over reel put together and send it to everyone in the market. IE Radio Stations, marketing firms, everyone and anyone that would be looking for VO talent.
