Austin vs McMahon
Taker vs Mankind
Andre vs Hogan
Alot of people said Bret Hart vs Shawn Michaels but I disagree. They had only two matches of any consequence, and the feud, if it can be called that, lasted not even two years. Austin/McMahon is probably number 1. Taker/Mankind was memorable for the brutal matches, and Andre/Hogan because of that one match at Wrestlemania III.

Think i"m going to go back in the archives here and say Hulk Hogan v/s Sgt Slaughter.
It was right around the time the USA was in war with the MIddle East and The storyline of One of our own crossing over and joining the Saudi's ( Sgt Slaughter ) broke the hearts and backs of wrestling fans and people who didn't really watch wrestling at the time. You had the All American Hulk Hogan stripped of his title and fighting for not only himself but the millions of Americans everywhere to regain control. Very well put together considering what was really going on outside of the wrestling world

yeah rock and stone cold. goldberg vs lesnar could have been the best, but the matches were booked so badly and they didnt have aby heart for the mania match
