There are tasteful tattoos and not so tasteful. In general no, though there are those women who go way over board.
Only way peeps know I have mine is if I wear a tank top. Otherwise when I tell people they are shocked, then when they find out it is a rather large one they looked even more shocked lol!
I got this for me, not to show off to everyone.

I don't think they're necessarily trashy, but they are frivolous at best, and reflect an overly-impulsive nature. To me they also reflect low self-esteem. A tattoo calls attention to itself, not the person who's tattooed. I know I'm going to get slammed for this, but I can't help how I feel.
Were I a business owner, I would not hire anyone with visible tattoos or piercings (and the gods know when self-mutilation became fashionable), because it isn't the kind of character I would want associated with my business. Call me old fashioned if you wish (I'm not that old, by the way). Earrings on men make me feel the same way.
Women with tattoos and men with earrings are people I am not prepared to take seriously. Sorry all you ink folks; but I think you'll discover I am not the only one who feels this way.

Not at all. I have one (and my boyfriend loves it!) and I plan on getting another. For me, the design and placement could be the main determining factor of whether or not the TATTOO would be considered trashy, but not the woman (or man).

They aren't trashy as long as they are done properly and look good. I haven't gotten any because I don't know what I want and I don't know how it will look as time passes.

I even have tattoos and that i might locate them particularly sexy on a females. in spite of the undeniable fact that it is probable for a woman to get a disgusting one. it actually relies upon on region. Get an entire sleeve and that i might prefer to bang the hell out of you!

Nope. I don't have or want any, but I know several people who have gotten beautiful ones that they are very happy with, and have been for quite some time.

No. I think they looks and is interpreted a lot differently on women than on men. I think they look awesome if they're done right and in moderation.
