future. I would love to see what we are "missing out on" right now Like when kids ask how older generations ever lived without tv or computers.... what is it that we are living without?

you know, it is fun to think about, but I think I will stay in the present..
I guess you don't realize that 50 years ago, people sat around , listening to radio shows on Radios that were 3 feet, high..Transistor radios were very uncommon and very expensive, TV were in their infancy and tended to have very "Snowy" black and white programming, No one had calculators, or computers, houses were draughty and furnaces were coal fired or sawdust, some modern ones were fuel oil.
Things have really changed, before that we had much more desease, people didn't live as long, many drugs hadn't been invented, predjudices were more widespread, living conditions were harsher. We are not equiped to deal with those conditions anymore.
In the last 50 years , technology has advanced in leaps and bounds, but it will advance at a far greater rate in the next 50 years.. If you went to the future, you would be the DUMBEST one there.
You wouldn't understand technology, or the products, or the way of living, and it would be really hard to learn.
So as the chinese say "Be carefull what you wish for, you might get it"
So I like the idea of living in the present, learning about the past, so I can prepare for the Future

Definitely the past! I'm a history major so of course I would love to travel through the centuries and how people lived during the different times!

yes -- something i wonder about.
am guessing that if they ever figure out time travel, the most do-able is forward -- but at a different pace than everyone else -- faster or slower... am thinking that going back is not an option... no matter what the advances in technology
