1. Florida. I mean for one, the defending national champs. Secondly, they have Tim Tebow. And finally, still a great defense
2. LSU
3. Arkansas, They maybe could be higher, but losing Mustain will probably hurt them
4. Tennessee
5. Georgia
6. Auburn
7. Alabama, Nick Saban is an SEC coach, period.
8. Kentucky, obviosuly most underrated team in conference.
9. South Carolina
10. Vanderbilt
11. Mississippi State
12. (Ole) Mississippi

1. Florida-Not because they are defending champs, but because even though all of their main defenders left, the backups still played very well at points in the season whenever they were asked, the QB position will be a little bit better and Urban Meyer will begin to actually run the spread option offense, which he couldn't do with Leak because of his abilities.
2. South Carolina- They had a lot of close games with the big time SEC teams. This year, the team will learn how to close out those games. I don't think that they will be able to beat Florida since the game is so late in the season and UF will have the option in full gear, that is why they are number 2. Plus, the Ol' Ball Coach will run a better defense and will score a little more often than this year.
3. LSU- Jamarcus Russell was a huge loss for them in terms of leadership and in the passing game. You can argue that Florida will lose their starter but Tebow played more than LSU's second string and is more battle tested. Their defense will be as good as always but I feel that the lack of offense will cost them 2 games in the SEC.
And college football is much better than NFL watch teams that care about what they do ChiBear!!!

The University of Southern California is the 4th best team in the nation. I know that they don't have their big stars from last year (Leniart, White, Bush), but they have some more young talented guys waiting in the wings. The Pac-10 is a weak conferance for football anyway so they should dominate it. Pat Carroll is a great coach so he'll get the most out of his guys.
