I have to do a school project on Persephone, the Greek Goddess of Spring, and Innocence. I already know the basic stuff like how Hades took her from earth and the whole season story, can you give me any other stuff?

In Roman mythology, she is called Proserpine and her name carries a meaning related to "she who destroys the light." Also known as Persephassa and Persephatta in the Greek (or as Kore which means daughter when her mother and she are worshiped collectively). She consorted with Hades, Zeus, Adonis, and Hermes and had one son, Zagreus (most say by Zeus, a few traditions say by Heracles). Wikipedia has a pretty thorough description. If you would like to read the entire story, I would recommend using the book /Mythology/ by Edith Hamilton. It is a very useful source of all mythology projects.
