(the new friend was black) they went to a church and there was only black ppl. so doug(white) went to the church because he felt jelous, decon was preaching, and then doug was like "yea!!" or something like that. and decon was like "you dont belong here" and doug started walking oud and decon said again "YOU DONT BELONG HERE!!!!!!"
so isn't that racist!!!! ALL BLACK CHURCH!!!!!

First of all, you should not make an episode of "King of Queens" the basis for a racial arguement, [but i will address the epidsode anyway,] when doug did stand up and shout, it was insincere and timed poorly. Doug and Carrie don't attend church regularly and the only reason they went to that church in first place because they was jealous their his best friends found someone eles to hang out with.
You probably haven't been to an all black church before, therefore you couldn't make a valid statement as to whether a white person would be accepted at all black church or not. There is a white family and a Mexican family that attend my [predominately black church] and they aren't treated any differently than anybody eles.
Also, i dont think that a church becomes predomintely white or black on purpose, its a matter of worship styles.
Oh yeah, and what do you have to say about churches like the Potter's House, which is a church founded by mostly black clergy and is attended by many races including black AND white.
If you do come across a church that won't let you worshipp with them based on your race, then i would suggest that you find some other place to worship, because if they find this practice acceptable, then they aren't truely living the word anyway.

I believe that the reason for there being predominately black churches and whites churches is mainly based on worship styles. There are differences in the ways that each denomination worships as well as the way each culture worships. It is only racist if the congregation feels they are superior and will not accept anyone of any other race to attend.
As far as colleges go, Black colleges are Historically Black Colleges, meaning they were founded by blacks and majority of the students who chose to attend were black. I attended a black university and there were students there of other races but not many. And this wasn't because they were not allowed, I think it was because they felt more comfortable at a school where they were the majority. So technically there are "white colleges". Majority of college campuses I have been on are at least 90% white.

There is no such thing as a blacks only church. Now there may be a predominately black church, just like there are predominately white churches. The only difference is if whites were to walk into a church full of blacks they would feel uncomfortable not come back (Not use to being a minority I guess). As for blacks walking into a church full of whites, were use to being the only blacks in some places anyways. So were most likely to end up being part of the two or three black families in a predominately white church.

I've yet to go to a black church that will turn anyone away. Usually it's a difference in the style of worship or where the church is located. I have a hard time believing in any church I've gone to that someone will be turned away from the door because of race, in either predominantly white or black churches.

Most churches are either black or white hence the saying "Sunday is the most segregated day in the US"... Anyway the church that I attend (mostly black a few whites) was going to merge with a predominately white church, we started holding our services together and everything was going fine until it was revealed that they worshipped demons lol quick end to that.

I don't know where you live but generally, people go to church along racial lines. The tradition goes back to when there was segregation in America and I guess it all sticks. Your question betrays the fact that you know very little about American politics and history. Read up! The reasons behind these things are very clear. There are new churches that are mixed and they are gaining popularity too.
*what the hell is kings and queens? are you basing your understanding of this nation on tv shows?

If the church receives government funding then all people have to be allowed.
There are plenty of white only churches...where do you think clan members go...to Martin Luther King Baptist?
Which churches are black only. Having only black people GO does not mean only black people CAN GO!!!! See the difference.
The only black church I know of are Black Muslim temples...and they do not deny that they are racist.

What the hell are you talking about. Most white people are just not going to go out of their way to go in a predominatly black area to go to their church. They are welcome to, it's not like they would be stopped by anyone? I have always gone to a "white" church where my family was the only brown family and "white" school and a "white" neighborhood. I never considered it racist, it was just a predomintley white area. You're not too sharp are you

Because earlier in history white people were the dominant rulers of the country, and blacks second class citizens. Black churches and schools are a sign of EQUALITY not superiority.
