Bush probably meant to say we need to increase our oil usage by 20%. He is going to get a lot of flack from his Saudi friends over his plan from last night. Of course, in his previous State of the Union address, Bush stated we need to look for alternate fuel sources and wean our dependence on foreign oil; however, that has yet to come to fruition.

Russ feingold wants 40% cut by 2010. I think its possible. and it doesn't mean we need smaller vehicles. Willy Nelsons tour bus runs without gas. I forget exactly what energy source he uses its not gas.

I know it sound pricey but to change your SUV to run on natural gas is 10,000. which is only 1/4 the price of a new truck

I cut my oil use by 25% a few years ago by getting rid of my 2 gas hogs and buying fuel efficient smaller cars. I don't miss them at all. I chuckle to myself at the gas station watching people pump $60 into their Escallade while I fill up for $25 and it lasts me 2 weeks (and I live in the middle of nowhere).

Not a chance.

A better idea would be to get the liberal Hollywood elite to stop flying their private jets. After all, they're the ones that support the Dems and their crusade to prohibit drilling in Anwar.

Give me a break!

SUV owners have been getting a bad rap for years. The real gas guzzlers are:

-Mobile homes
-Recreational vehicles
-Delivery trucks

When you get older, you'll get smarter.
