Yup, that is the whole of it. Different skillsets earn different incomes.

Socialism was created by elitists as a response to the rise of the middle class in the Renaissance. It was contrived as a way to take away from those who earned more in order to prevent them from gaining wealth and political power that might threaten the entrenched ruling elite.

America was created as a rejection of monarchies and socialism. We earn what we are worth and we're supposed to be able to keep it.

No it is a way to make employers pay people that aren't qualified and that go around demanding training to bring them up to speed of good workers. When everyone knows, training will not help these people that do not want to try to change and become the kind of employee the company is paying for.
They would stay in training forever drawing a paycheck.

However, they are constantly complaining because the chemical techs make about double what they make. It's all about replaceability and how easy it is to fill a position.
