Yes it works.

Hypnotherapy works by changing what your subconscious mind believes.

Whatever your subconscious mind believes to be true becomes true.

In 1980 I went from riding a Honda motorcycle to riding a wheelchair after I was diagnosed with Muscular Dystrophy.

I started directing ch'i into my weakened back and legs, then I would spend time day dreaming of what it was like to ride my motorcycle at 80+ MPH.

Now the subconscious mind can not tell the difference between a real and an imagined event; so my subconscious mind released the chemicals as if I had actually been riding my motorcycle. Two months later; I had regained strength to walk around again, and about a year later; I was strong enough to go back to riding my motorcycle.

The Hawai'ian kahunas believed if they prayed to Pele (the volcano goddess) for protection they could walk on lava flows that were two thousand degrees fahrenheit without injury, and they did.

The subconscious mind is far more powerful than most people believe.

My ex tried it to quit smoking. He also had a tape to play while he was asleep. It worked for a while, but then he went back to it.

Ellen DeGeneres used it to help her stop smoking. According to her it worked for her.
