On November 29, 1934, the first NFL game was broadcasted over the radio. It was a Thanksgiving Day game between the Chicago Bears and Detroit Lions. These were the first two to broadcast games over the radio.

I was THINKING it was Chicago, because George Halas was one of the founding fathers of the NFL with Jim Thorpe, and others.
