They went off the air 5 years ago, meaning they ended filming in 2002. There are no reruns on Fox, I don't know why, but there are reruns on cable channels, like Sci-Fi.

Actually the Fox network reruns them on the weekend, it at like 2 in the morning, check local listings.

Hey....ha....that show was awesome. I am 16 years old, so at the time my parents thought it was too scary for me to watch (which it was....I mean.....that was some freaky stuff when you are little) My brother used to watch it all the time, and its on like Sci Fi currently.
PS. Its funny to look back on it now, now you watch it and just laugh.....classic show....classic...I wonder what ever happened to the,"Smoking man"...hmm....

TNT shows the repeats every day and the Sci-Fi channel shows it at 5pm everyday and every so often an all day marathon.

in my opinion it went downhill fast after mulder left and they lost so many fans that it was cancelled, they do show repeats on sci-fi network in the evenings,and fx on late-nite

it's been off of the air for about five or six years now. it ran for seven years (i think). they show it on fox late late at night and on the scifi channel too.

there are re-runs on the sci-fi channel sometimes. the x-files was a great show!!!
