Being from the UK and living in the states, I have to listen to everyone calling what we call football (soccer) (we call your guys football american football)....
So the question is, which is the best name for it Football or Soccer!

Most other countries Call soccer (football) and I don't know why we have decided to call it that and then have our American Football to be another game. I think that whatever soccer was originally called is the best name, its not going to change what we AMericans call it. Main thing is Soccer is a great game.

In America call it soccer or futbol. Otherwise you will have to explain further which football you are talking about.
By the way, American football is the true football. It is a much better game to play and is much more entertaining to watch when compared to soccer.

Americans are not very bright they call a game you use your hands in FOOTBALL and they also choose George Bush as president ha ha football is football and always will be football there is no such game named soccer

i call it "football...for the rest of the world", because it's "football" to the rest of the world.
and i call our football, here in the states, American football
soccer definately has more to do with the football, so soccer deserse the name "fooball"
