Just let it slide... she doesnt necessarily mean you... Maybe the girl is the type who runs away and gets lost or something.... I think the lady is just being protective.. Nothing personal i would say...

Are you positive that she had that directed at you? And was that the first time? If not, then maybe there's something wrong with you (most likely phsically...sorry I'm being so direct) but otherwise maybe there were a lot of cars and stuff

In todays day in age I would respect the woman's choice in protecting her child. I wouldn't take it personally but see that in this day in age with all the abusers of children that this Mum cares enough about her child to not trust strangers with them, whether they look normal or not.

She's being protective & maybe doesnt want the child to act like a child with fidgetyness or talking to strangers.I wouldnt take it personal,,she may have wanted the child not to bother you,,lol.
