Miami with New Orleans a close second.
So I guess the people that posted behind me don't know any of the tie-breakers used. Just as in Baseball where the tie goes to the runner, in counting superbowl hostings the tie goes to the newest/most recent hoster....This means that although Miami and New Orleans have both hosted 9 SBs...Miami is hosting this yeat which therefore breaks the tie and gives Miami the 1st seed.
Gosh...it isn't that difficult people...

Appearantly someone doesn't understand the concept of time...since this year's Super Bowl has yet to be played Miami is still at 8. Since the question clearly states hostED there isn't even a tie. O and that "tie goes to the runner" that isn't even a rule.
New Orleans 9, but Miami will host for the 9th time this year.
Pasadena 5
Tampa Bay and San Diego 3
LA, Houston, Detroit and Atlanta 2
Stanford, Minneapolis, Tempe and Jacksonville 1

New Orleans has 9 (IV, XI, IX, XII, XV, XX, XXIV, XXXI, and XXXVI). Miami will tie that this year (previous ones in Miami were II, III, V, X, XIII, XXIII, XXIX, and XXXIII) and pass New Orleans when it hosts Super Bowl XLIV in 2010. New Orleans is not slated to host one of the future Super Bowls yet (XLII is in Arizona and XLIII is in Tampa).

New Orleans with 9 times. I'm pretty sure Miami doesn't tie it this year.
