You can try Veet. It's a razor but it has no blade, so it leaves no bumps and no irritation. You just put on the Veet mousse and it starts dissolving the hair before you actually start shaving.
If you don't want bumps at all, you should try a hair removal cream like Nair. However, I have tried the waxing, the veet and the nair, but I didn't get good results or they were too painful.
What I do to prevent the bumps and irritation (and it works) is I always use a new, sharp razor blade and a good shaving gel with aloe. I use Gillette and it's really good. Another thing is, don't shave exactly every week. You should give it time to properly grow back, before you shave it again or else you'll get the bumps and irritation and always try to skip a week once in a while. During that week, just trim it to keep it looking nice, but it's important to give your skin time to recuperate and heal, cuz shaving does hurt your skin. The most important step is, after you shave get a good moisterizing lotion with aloe and collagen. This prevents the skin from drying up and becoming irritated.

There is nothing you can do to change how fast the hair grows. You will need to shave every day if you have a man around, or every other day if not.
1. Use the triple blade razor with blades you change out. Keep it sterile - keep in alcohol. Use this one only for your privates.
2. Apply a layer of gel baby oil, or regular if you can't get it.
3. a layer of CHEAP shaving cream, not the gel kind as cheap has more cushion.
4. Clip the bush down to 1/4 inch and shave aginst the grain.
People say "with the grain" sometimes, but it gives you ingrown hairs and stubble.
After about a year you will not have to use anything but soap to shave because the skin will get tougher.

I recommend the Seiko Cleancut Shaver from BeaverShaver.com because it causes the least amount of irritation, and the rechargeable Pearl Blue model costs about as much as a professional Brazilian wax. Everything needs to be nice and smooth when it comes to girls. At least that's what my grandmother told me. Be sure to buy a big bottle of Tend Skin lotion. It works like magic for your pussie. You won't have any irritation at all if you use that stuff after you shave. You should be very satisfied with it. You can order Tend Skin from Amazon.com. It's too bad you don't live near me. I would really like to see the results. In the meantime, I will be over here munching on tacos from Taco Bell and becoming wealthier while women shave and end up dating obnoxious nerds who don't have any money. I did use the "P" word. I do like the kitty kat very much. Now watch all of the gay men leave this forum in search of something other than a kitty kat. I got completely off topic. You want to know how to prevent the hair from growing so quickly? You can go to Amazon.com and order Hair No More. It appears that millions of people have bought that product. It must do something for them. I'm not sure how well it would work on a salami. Fortunately, a salami does not have any hair on it. It really is too bad you don't live near me because you would not have to buy any of those things. I would buy all of those things for you. Then, I would take you to a nice restaurant, and I would have you for dinner.

To cut the pain of razor burn use dedorant on the shaven area. It also helps with the tiny red bumps that sometime follow a shave.
Though honestly, nothing works better than wax. It's not a daily or weekly routine, and doesn't hurt that much either.

you can always buy one of those electric razors for women. you can buy then at target or some place like that. i got one for like 50.00 and it was so worth it. i've been doing it about twice a week for about a year and now my hair doesn't grow back as fast or as much.
