Because evrery country in europe as a premier league for instance in scotland its the scottish premier league spanish premier league and so on but in England it's just the premiership

Yeah, it's not really great food to be honest !
As stated, it's named after the country it's played in.

I understand your point but I guess it is because they play their games in England. There should be a minimum quota for english players on each team
