I believe it to be a fool's errand to pin anything universally related to an "absolute" category.

The question you are really asking is as follows, is man , man or a robot? If man has no free will, and all is predermined then man is a robot. A teacher of mine once noted that if youo believe in fate then there is no reason to ask this question bec my ans and disposition is predermined and so is yours, so what gain will be made in a discussion?
Your question about God is a good one but requires a creative ans. Say you have a clock maker, the clock maker knows what time it is now not bec he has looked at the watch but bec he knows what was put into place and how exactly it operates. If you were to say God knows thigns bec of cause and effect, then youre right, there s no real free will. However this is not the case, God knwoign something is a misnomer. God cannot Know things as we do, bec. we only kbow things from causality and if whats behind causality is God, then causality cant apply to God, therefore God "knows" things in a totally diff. way which we cant relate too, God knows things bec God is the source.
So since gods knwoing has nothing to do with causality god can know what youll do yet you have the free will to do it. since no causality is affecting the free will
Your last question is interesting. Free will,in order to be free must be beyond causality, therefore you rarely use it. Most of the time we are acting on previous choices. Say i choose to not plau ball all day and see the benefit in studying , i made a free will choice. However 2 years later when i pick up the book to study, its not free will, its the result if a free will choice i made 2 yrs ago.

No I do not believe in fate or destiny having in control over our lives. I do not believe there is a god controlling our lives either. There is no evidence of any kind for the existence of fate, destiny, or god. We do not exactly have free-will either for we are all subject to the common good. We are not free to act in any manner that we wish because the common good is at stake. We are all free to act in the limits set by the common good.

Wow!
1. There is fate and destiny. It's all relative to the path we choose for ourself.
2. Our lives are determined by our choices (i.e., jobs, spouses, avocational interests, etc.).
3. Absolutely.
4.Of course. No drug addict chose to screw up their life. They all thought that they could "handle it". Every criminal who's currently locked up didn't choose to become a criminal with the goal of getting locked up. Every one of those folks has a handy excuse (friends, socio-economics, their attorneys, the judge, etc.).
5. Oh yeah. The Presbyterians believe that we are all free to let God take our hand and guide us. We also believe that we are free to choose to pull away from God, and take our chances with the world. We may choose to come or go, but He never abandons us.
6. Both. Our choices influence our destiny. Weirdo-Freak-o stuff does happen, though:
*I've been divorced twice (ouch!).
*Both times, my ex's ended up living an older Navy vet named "Rick" who treated my children really well.
Peace.

1. Yes i beleive in fate & destiny
2. No they are predetermined by fate & destiny
3. No
4. No
5. No
6. No
God doe,s not know what we would choose thats why we have free will he wants us to make the right choices.
Destiny is the future destined for you, its is also the predetermined course of events.
Fate is the inevitable fortune that happens to you, it is also the ultimate force that predetermines the course of events.
If you meet someone and you connect totally as in they are always in your mind, you long to see them, you miss them, want tohear they're voice, even when you dont see them for years and you meet again and all those feelings are still there its fate it was inevitable you would meet in this life if they keep coming in and out of your life its because you where destined to be together..
Thats an example of fate & destiny
If you beleive in God then you will always make the right choice
Free will means the choice is yours
They are all prominent in our lives dont confuse them with each other..

Firstly, everybody in this planet is God if you let it be. Secondly, fate & destiny depends on yourself, you are your own pilot in this world. And anybody can achieve all their dreams/goals.
However, due to the fact that our mind is egoistic and somewhat negative in its nature, we prevent our dreams/goals and destiny to be fulfilled. Most people live in their head instead of their heart and this prevents them from being who they really are and as a result will not achieve their dreams, or they would but with great difficulties.
Hope this helps.

6. Free-will only. I do not believe in a God and although sometimes I may think something is "destiny" I know deep down that it is not and anything good (or bad) that happens is a result of my behavior.

I believe you would have to be a strong person to be able to manipulate the 2. If you’re not in tune with your spirituality God will control your destiny. If you are in tune, you can choose to change your destiny. Everything is God Willing! :)
