where do sharks sleep????

If you mean Great Whites, Makos, Tiger sharks, Blue sharks, Oceanic White-tipped sharks, & Hammerheads--WHEREVER THEY WANT. All others--at the Hotel California.

The only shark that has been found to actually sleep, resting on the bottom of the ocean, is the Nurse shark.

Presumably, in the oceans.

Other than that - they usually have to sleep somewhere there is a good current to keep water going through thier gills. They do not "breathe" like other fish.

In spite of what others say, sharks DO sleep.

they sleep at the bottom of anywhere from 30-75 ft. of water....like dolphins sharks sleep with 1 eye open.....only 1/2 they're brain is sleeping and the other 1/2 is WIDE awake!!!

They do not sleep. They keep swimming. most fish have a bladder that keeps them floating so they can rest.Sharks don't have it
