Good point that - there are some groups that do a good fusion of hip hop and rock but they are few and far between.
I don't mind rap, hip hop and rnb by certain artists and I appreciate it for what it is - but I'm a rock chick at heart dammit. Bands like Creed, Nickelback, etc just don't really cut it for me.

When the rock musicians make good music, rock will be in the top 50 again. It's not very interesting. I'm sorry. I love rock. I play guitar but the bands nowadays are just dull. It all sounds the same. Most of the rap and hip hop is club music, except Nas. The kids like to dance. They are ones who buy this music.

Believe me the age of rb and hip hop, and rap will end someday. Rock is probably going to be the most remembered type of music of all time,; It is going to make a huge comeback, it is still popular among the youth generation.

i know.. where's the electric guitar in the top 50?? i'm sure they'll come back.. some good rockbands maybe aren't just that popular, even if they are great ones... it might be because most of the people these days are into that hiphop.. i mean, more that half my school likes hiphop..

Seriously...Rock will come back...It's becoming more popular now, since new bands are starting to bud. And most of the newbs are infusing rock and rap, so yeah...It's coming back.

Artists need to find new styles, but it is sad and tragic what is popular today. It makes me sick to my stomach when I think that people are actually supporting these wannabees. Don't they see that they're just puppets on some producers string?
