The problem is in the front-end, and its apart of the steering assembly, i think. if i could find a good schematic online, i could probably answer the question for myself. ive had trouble locating one though, im afraid. any help would be greatly appreciated. thanx...

My car is broken!

Gee, thanks. That tells me so much. Did you want a diagram of a 2007 Mercedes, or a 1939 Ford V-8? How can we answer if you won't even tell us a year, make, and model?

Somewhere I have the manual for the Model T Ford, it was in my father's things and I got it when he died, is that what you need?

Come on, ask a question with enough information that we can at least give you an intelligent guess. You have given us the "My car won't start, why?" type of question.

try going to chilton's website. they may have it but you'll need the make, model, etc handy so you can search the site. it may be easier to go to a dealership and have them print out the diagram you need if you have a dealer nearby.
the only other way is to get a manual. they may have one in the library, and you can get one from any auto supply for about $20 for your make and model. if they don't have it in stock, they can order it for you.
