i can't belive john cena is injured! first batista then rey mysterio, then triple h and now john cena!? who's next? umaga is a big ugly piece of crap who should be in hell now. y is he even in wrestling? he should be home being fat. wat do u think about this? and wat's going to happen at the royal rumble now that cena is injured?

As first reported by WWE Mobile Alerts, WWE Champion John Cena was injured last night on Raw when Umaga bulldozed him through a table.

Cena was left with severe abdominal pain from the fall, which WWE doctor Ferdinand Rios suspected was due to a ruptured spleen. Cena was taken to a nearby medical facility for an abdominal CT scan, but refused admission and left the facility under his own power— against the advice of the attending physician.

Many question the reasoning behind Cena ignoring the potentially severe injury. According to doctors, physical activity, especially contact sports, could be catastrophic.

WWE.com has learned of a new clause in the company’s wellness policy. When a Superstar is admitted to a medical facility, there is a minimum number of days the Superstar cannot compete. This is dependent upon the severity of the condition diagnosed. Cena’s subsequent actions after his diagnosis raises the question: did Cena refuse to be admitted to a medical facility to avoid the risk of not being cleared to defend his title against Umaga at the Royal Rumble this Sunday?

It’s no secret he wants revenge on the Samoan Bulldozer, but is refusing the needed medical attention the right decision? Could Cena be jeopardizing his career for his lust for retribution?

I have a theory about his "injury" Monday night. I know all of that was scripted, but after going back to watch the tape you can tell he was truly in pain. I think that he probably was taken to the hospital to have an abdominal CT scan. I am guessing that he has a bruised spleen or some other injury like that, but they are playing it up like he's hurt more than he actually is. I am sure when John woke up Tuesday morning he was extremely sore. With HHH being hurt for real, I am sure Cena's gonna work through whatever injury he might or might not have.

OK...here is the deal with Cena...he may or may not be injured none of us no that 4 sure and he will wrestle at Royal Rumble so when he beats fat face Umaga he will come out as the underdog.but if he is hurt then he should be fine.I mean come on this is Cena we are talking about..HE WOULD WIN EVEN IF HE WASNT INJURED ANYTHING AND ANYONE CAN BEAT UMAGA IF THEY TRIED AND THATS WAT CENA WILL DO AGAIN AT ROYAL RUMBLE

I hope Umaga wins the Last Man Standing Match. Umaga is awesome. You saw the way he decimated "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair the night after Wrestlemania.

And after he's the new WWE champion, I would love to see Umaga take Johnny Nitro to the limit and squash him and Melina.

unfortunilly yes Cena maybe will need to abdicate his title. Umaga is a savage yeah the chain gang is injury and if he goes to royal rumble he will possibly lose this brutal match called Last Man Standing did u remember what happened to the great khali he and undertaker??? so with Umaga on that ring Cena injured I don't know what will happen the only I know that possibly Umaga will be the new WWE champ!

well, im a fan of cena even though he really cant wrestle, but he has charisma and the company is making money, so thats why they got him there and also why they respect his decisions, among his most recent ones-refusing medical attention. he could have a ruptured spleen, but he knows that if he were badly hurt he might not be cleared to wrestle at the rumble so, being the pride idiot that all men are he refused to get help so that he doesnt look like a coward for not being able to compete, but he is risking loosing his career.

they are not actually sure what damage was done but he refused to stay in the hospital and get checked out and he IS defending the title in the Last Man Standing match against Umaga tonight

He still has to go fight Umaga,even with a ruptured spleen! Most likely,though,he'll lose his title Sunday and get in back within a few weeks! He needs a break anyway!
