Can be at any age, even children; but then again, under 30 it is really very very rare. Also very rare in guys. If you are a teen, and have some soreness and swelling around or beneath your nipple, that's a normal puberty side effect. You can have swelling on one side or both, and it can also last for a few days or even weeks--but again, normal for teen guys. Not all guys get it, but many do.

Most people get breast cancer after puberty, so as early as 12-14.
