They are considered Indo-European, but yes, sometimes Indians like to be called Asian, although racially, they are not Mongoloid.

I assume you mean East Indians, people fromt he country of India, and not Native Americans.

Generally, yes, many Indians do consider themselves to be Asian. India is considered a "subcontinent" or a part of Asia (much like the debate over Pluto being a planet or a dwarf planet). When in doubt, though, ask the person in question what they prefer, and don't presume to label them if you're not sure.

Yes, India is in Asia, therefore Indians would be Asian. South Asians to be more specific, but Asians nevertheless. In England, the "Asian" are the Indians and Pakistanis, but in America, "Asians" are usually the Chinese and Japanese etc..

Yes, their ancestors migrated via the Berring Straits during the ICE AGE, to what would be come America.
There are essentially only three races: Africoids, Europoids, Asianoids. All others are branches and mixtures.

Eastern Indians (people from the country India) are 'Asians' but most people consider them 'black' as a 'racial color'. American Indians are considered NATIVE AMERICANS even though 'racially' they come from a more 'Asian place' and over the 'ice bridge' between Asia and America thousands of years ago ... and why can't we all be 'just people' and celebrate our 'different colors' without having to 'wonder' what 'racial background' we are or where our ancestors came from?
